As Cill said supplements wont do it for you! Diet is crucial and also your workout is a big part of it too!
You want strength, speed and general power? Try stick to the exercises which incorporate multi joint movements and general explosiveness! Cleans, Deadlifts, Squats and Chin ups and all good for that! Also Plyometrics are very good for the speed and power!
Weights for Rugby are pretty different to those for bodybuilding! You wont see Brian O'Driscoll doing many isolations like wrist curls!
Supplements wise : Creatine is known for giving you added power and explosiveness but only when used correctly and with good diet and programme.

Don't let the lads freak you out with the word diet, your a rugby player not a bodybuilder so you prob don't have one and thats cool, no probs!!
Wha they mean is that you are getting enough protein carbs and fats (i.e healthy food) for your body to perform at its best and not eating any, or at least not too much crap!!
So supplements wise, get ones which will help meet these targets so protein powders, all in one meal replacements are what you need. Then also the old relyable creatine and a multi vit......... there's no magic pill unfortunatly!

Just like CK said, supplements dont do miricals, they just help you a little towards your golds...
For speed and explosive power you should try plyometric training, that will help majorly!!!

The best supplement is training provided your following a decent programme.
Supplements will only help recovery but if your following a shit programme then they wont do jack.
Post up your training programme first and we can take it from there.
