Hey i jus like 2 say dat I was also natural for dis comp and have always been natural..I did have an experienced bodybuilder helping me through de diet..but I trained hard for 4years and dieted my ass off for 4 and half months!!
Full credit to you man for staying natural and you were in great shape and no doubt you were a very deserved winner!
I didn't suggest anyone else was or wasn't on drugs cause frankly it's none of my business. So i hope you don't think i was implying you were on drugs and sorry if it came accross that way..
The atmosphere at the shows and celebration of steroid use just frustrates me because from a personal view point i hate the use of steroids. I also think they ruin bodybuilding and hold the sport back preventing it from ever going mainstream which is such a shame.
Thanks man i was very happy with how things went on the night..no i didnt think you were i was just trying to reinforce your point bout being natural.. youre right that the sport it is ruined with steroid abuse..people associate bodybuilding with huge men and it is impossible to get that size without tehm so for that reason natural or not bodybuilding will never be mainstream..like you said there are no natural shows in ireland and after juniors i would assume you would just go into an open class in the UK..what irritates me is that if ye want to take de next step from juniors into novice or seniors there is no way you can be competitive without them

No the ribbf don't test in their shows.... none of the shows in ireland are tested. The bnbf is a uk organisation who test and polygraph all class winners!! They have shows all over in the uk usually between june and august, also their juniors class go to 23 so i'd have 2 more junior years... as an added bonus!

U made insane improvements in mass(the 2 stone Gain u wer talkin bout) u broke ur wrist but still went through with de comp and you looked great. That 3rd pic looks fukin deadly u look like a scary bastard in it lol
Dont let it get you down, i for one would kill to look like u did and so would alot of others(not literally kill, u no wat i mean )
So what's the plan of action now?? Bulk/another show or sumtin?

Eh.... no more shows this time round cause there aren't any now for a while till next summer really. So i'v gone down playing rugby now for the winter,
It'll be a nice change in the gym for me cause for the last 2 years i'v been there focusing only on bodybuilding.
The plan is to keep adding as much muscle to my frame as poss, so i am lifting 3 days a week using slightly adjusted 5x5 workouts.... so hopefully if i stay injury free from playing ball i keep growing and try get greater density in my muscle which i think only comes with time and consistancy! Also to build as much strength into those compound lifts as much for rugby as anything else. Then if i keep my bodyfat around 10% thats perfect for me. This shouldn't be a problem with all the cardio in training and matches
Then hopefully compete again whenever the next shows come up after the rugby season...
What about your training how's it goin? i see your cutting at the mo.... looking lean!!! Whats the plans have you anything in mind that you are training for or just to be in great shape and healthy?? what age are u out of curiosity?

Yeah I'm cutting cuz I let myself go too much over the summer so just tryin to get lean nd regain my discipline
My training is all over the shop at the moment I'm not in a gym cuz I'm broke lol so I'm basically just doin a load of gymnastics type trainin to keep the strength up nd try to hold onto the muscle I have nd not waste away lol
My plans are to just keep lean, keep fit nd keep (relatively) strong and then when iv got enough money to get another gym membership I'll start back bodybuilding nd bulking to try gain some mass hopefully
