Lads quick question. Im getting my first bit of ink today, on the inside of my top left bicep. Do I get it put on when Im relaxed or flexing, and if its relaxed, whatl the effect be if I flex?

Also if my biceps grow more (which please God they will), will the tat end up stretched out or what?

Anyone here have any tats in places where the skin stretches alot due to flexing? Thoughts?

Hey man. If your tattooist is good they should be able to answer all those questions for you, if they cant I wouldnt get it done there. But it all depends on what design your getting if its quite detailed the tattoo may destort when growing, I have a tribal tat going from chest down shoulder to my elbow and havnt seen any change in it.

if you can sustain an ismetric contraction for more than 60 minutes and remain in thay state [which most trainees do] for the rest of your training life- do it

if not just relax and let the self mutilated man permanently ingrave your epidermal layer with a "symbolic" logo that will be obsolete as soon as the newest fad comes along
like tiling a bathroom, you only ever do it once

but if it means something to you- thats different

unless your arms double in size it wont stretch

ye have to agree with the lads got 3 done when i was 17-19 and i regret 2 of them as they just didnt mean anything. I have 1 on each arm and one on the chest. the 1 i have on my chest i dont mind but the ones on my arms i hate and am looking to get rid of them asap. so my advice is only if they really mean something well consider it then.

Thanks for the advice lads, but this does mean something to me. The whole thing is my own design. Plus its location means it cant be seen from behind, from the front, and only a tip of a wing sticks out on the side.
