Hey,

Back in the gym after a prolonged lapse. Have a great programme of cardio and weights, but am seriously sore at triceps and shoulders. I know it's cause I'm just back into it, but any advice on recovery supplements to speed up the process?

Up the nutrient (mainly protein) intake and get more sleep. Should make a big difference

Yeah there is no secret trick for that, just eating and restong. Maybe get some species Fiberlyze in for the first month

Glutamine will help with recovery. You could also try Purple Wraath or Chain'd.

warm up, cool down , stretch ,plunge pool(I dunno if these scientifically work but I feel they help), loadsa protein, glutamine, fish oils(anti inflammitory properties) loadsa whole foods

That being said your always gonna be stiff for a while when starting a training plan......it becomes less intense as your body gets used to it but the crap I mentioned will help ease the pain

A good antioxidant will benefit.
Vitamin C 1000mg 3 X daily
Be sure to take it pre and post-workout
